John-Carlo is a Culinary Arts Instructor at Vancouver Community College.

Career Highlights

In 2006 he was named Regional Chef of the Year by the Canadian Culinary Federation.

In 2001 he was named Chef of the Year by the British Columbia Chefs’ Association.

From 1995 to 2003 he ran his own fifty-seat restaurant and full service catering business.

Training

Studied Culinary Arts at Vancouver Community College.
Apprenticed at Vancouver Downtown Holiday Inn under Chef Elio Guarnori.
