Roger is a Chef Instructor in the Culinary Arts Program at the College of the North Atlantic in St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador.

Career Highlights

In 2007, 2009 and 2010, Roger placed second at the highly regarded International PEI Shellfish Chef Challenge.

Roger won first prize at the 2010 Cream International Chowder Champion.

He won the 2006 CCFCC Atlantic Chef of the Year competition and placed second at the subsequent CCFCC National Chefs Challenge.

In 1998, Roger won the PEI Apprentice of the Year Competition and placed second at the CCFCC National Apprentice of the Year Competition in 1999 in Moncton, NB.

Training

Diploma in Food Administration from Cabot College in St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador

Diploma in Culinary Arts Honours from Holland College in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Currently working toward his Degree in Post-Secondary Education at Memorial University in St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador
